Florida Literary Arts Coalition Membership Fees

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS: $35 (one year); $65 (two years)

Individual members share and support FLAC's literary mission. They join a network of writers, editors, publishers, educators, and literary activists. They receive discounts on conference and workshop registration and are entitled to submit news and notes for publication on the FLAC website, blog, and Facebook pages.

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS $150

In addition to supporting FLAC's literary mission and sharing the benefits of Individual Members, Institutional Members are entitled to register their representatives at the Individual Member rate. Institutional Members are also entitled to host Florida Writers Circuit writers for a discounted rate. FLAC Institutional Members' students receive free conference registration.

Magazines and literary journals joining as INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERS will have a link on FLAC's Web site, access to the organization's lobbying efforts, and Writers' lists, and may be able to share space at events such as AWP or BEA. Magazines and journals can also host FLAC FWC writers for readings, workshops, or fund-raising events for a discounted fee.

FLORIDA WRITERS' CIRCUIT PUBLISHER MEMBER: $500

In addition to supporting FLAC's literary mission and receiving all the benefits of Institutional Members, Publisher Members are eligible to place one of their authors on the Writer's Circuit each year. They also receive member rates for conference registration and book fair display privileges, plus access to online and technical resources.

FLORIDA WRITERS' CIRCUIT HOST MEMBER: $1,200

In addition to supporting FLACs literary mission and receiving all the benefits of Institutional Members, FWC Host Members (such as colleges or universities, libraries, or literary festivals) will be eligible to host any or all of the writers that the FLAC Florida Writers Circuit (FWC) schedules to bring to Florida and all of the Florida Arts Council (FAC) Literature Fellows. The organization will not need to pay any additional stipends or travel expenses, but is responsible for local lodging and food during the writer's visit at the host site. FWC Host Members can enjoy substantial reduction in costs for literary events and enjoy a wide range and number of potential visiting writers for only $1,200 a year.  Host Members are invited to nominate and vote on which out-of-state writers to invite to Florida during each calendar year.
